#StopTheCrash Mexico
Stop the Crash is a multi-stakeholder partnership led by Global New Car Assessment Programme (Global NCAP) promoting crash avoidance technologies in support of the United Nations’ (UN) Global Goals for Sustainable Development and to work towards a world free from road traffic fatalities.
In June 2022, the UN General Assembly at a high-level session on road safety adopted a political declaration which commits to reducing road fatalities and injuries by 50% by 2030 and highlights the importance of vehicle safety. This represents the UN’s strongest ever commitments to road safety and are fully consistent with the aims of the Stop the Crash partnership.
Stop the Crash began in Brazil in 2015 and has reached countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, Chile, Argentina, India, Indonesia, China, and now arrives in Mexico in order to help Mexicans and the government to improve road safety through voluntary initiatives without political cost.
During this event there will be demonstrations of Electronic Stability Control, Autonomous Emergency Braking in all its variants and ABS Brakes for motorcycles.
